My Additional Blog…

Before now, this had been my only blog. Nobody I personally know from school or university is on here, so I have been able to be completely myself without being judged or talked about by people who know me.

However, it has occurred to me that if I want to grasp more opportunities for my writing career, I need to have a blog that I am willing to make available to people I know as well, and that way I can also link opportunities in the media to it. Therefore, I have set up another account in which I will be able to write ready for career opportunities that will come my way.

I will still be blogging on this account too, so don’t think I’m disappearing as I am not going anywhere!! 🙂

But please check out and follow my new blog too for other posts and updates.

Also, the twitter account I have set up for it is – @bigdreams1993

Thanks everyone! See you soon 🙂

Which Job Do I Go For? How Do I Chase My Dreams?

I miss writing.

I feel like I never seem to have time to write on my blog anymore because I’m so busy. Obviously I’m not busy 24/7, but when I am I’m usually doing university work. By the time I do finally have time to myself I am just too tired for anything and can’t concentrate on my computer screen.

However, only two months left and then I am finished for good. Wow, that’s a scary thought! I can’t believe how quickly the last three years have gone… They have flown by! At least when I finish I can concentrate writing on here more frequently.. Whilst searching for full time job in the media, of course. Continue reading

Daily Prompt – Sweet Sixteen – You can always have fun

The idea of having a birthday soon did not really excite me when I was fifteen, due to turn sixteen shortly. Every year the couple of months leading up to my birthday was so exciting. Getting to choose presents, flick through the Argos catalogue circling things I want, and most of all.. party planning!

When I was younger I absolutely loved arranging parties with my parents, writing out invites to send to my friends and making up party bags! Such excitement would always rush through me and Continue reading

Better Late Than Never – My New Years Resolution

Well, hello again…

Yes, I am back.. finally! I haven’t blogged in about 27 days now which Is very bad of me, I know. I have been concentrating so much on uni work, meeting deadlines and keeping up my social life that I haven’t been able to just sit down, log onto my blog and start writing…

But, lets get this to change! I know its 20 days into the new year already.. (Happy New Year by the way).. but I will make a late new years resolution. This will be to try and blog as frequently as possible. Sometimes it may only be once a week if I am really busy, others I may do it several times a week if I give myself enough time to come on here. Either way, it will be as frequently as I possibly can.

What’s new with me? Nothing. No, I’m joking really – A lot things are new. Things keep changing for me recently – some good, some bad. However, all of them have taught me lessons that I am determined to become strong enough to take on board.

You will hear from me soon…

But for now, Happy Blogging 🙂

22nd December… Where has the time gone?

So its 22nd December, and I’m sat here wondering where on earth the last couple of months have gone..

Time seems to have flown by this year. It doesn’t even feel possible that it is almost 2014 already. Three days until Christmas and it hasn’t really sunk in. I absolutely love the Christmas feeling, especially the excitement leading up to it. But this year it still doesn’t really feel like it is Christmas in just 3 days. Usually this time of year I am absolutely bursting with excitement so I’m wondering why I’m not this year.

Perhaps it is because I’m getting older… I mean, I’ve always been told it gets less exciting as you grow up. Continue reading
